Obituary of Carmine R. Linea
Carmine R. Linea, 77 of Red Bank died Wednesday, April 1.
He was born in Sicily, Porto Empedocle Italy in 1942 to the late Concetta and Calogero Linea.
Carmine moved to the United States as a young man and made it his home. He served in the Army and then went on to start a family.
He worked as a Longshoreman and ultimately retired after 44 years in 2003.
Carmine enjoyed visiting Atlantic City and the Monmouth Racetrack. Most of all however, he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Rosa Linea; his three children: Charlie of Red Bank, Salvatore of Staten Island, and Joanne and her husband Chris Shannon of Lincroft; his brother Giuseppe, and his four beloved grandchildren: Christopher, Stephen, Isabella, and Annabella.
