Obituary of Raffaela Ignarra

Raffaela Ignarra died in her home on March 28, 2020 in Marlboro, NJ due to congestive heart failure.  She was 86.

Mrs. Ignarra was born on April 23, 1933 in Naples, Italy to her parents, Gaetano and Anna Ilardo.  She married Antonio Ignarra in 1961 in Naples, Italy and then immigrated to America shortly thereafter to raise her family in Brooklyn, NY with her husband.  She was a homemaker for most of her life and dedicated her remaining years as a loving and doting grandmother even as she struggled with various health issues.

Mrs. Ignarra is survived by her children; her daughter and son-in-law Theresa and John Ciccia of NJ, her son and daughter-in-law Antonio and Pasqua Ignarra of NY, her son and daughter-in-law Gaetano and Paula Ignarra of NJ, her daughter and son-in-law Concetta and Ernest Tricomi of NJ, her daughter Roseann Andreani of NY, her son and daughter-in-law Raymond and Danielle Ignarra of NJ, and her nineteen grandchildren.

Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak Raffaela’s funeral services will be private and a memorial mass will announced at a later date.  In lieu of traditional remembrances the family asks that you make a donation in Raffaela’s honor to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org
