Obituary of Joseph Nocera
Joseph Nocera 92, of Marlboro passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Centra State Medical Center, Freehold. Born in Bagnara Calabra, Province of Reggio Calabria, Italy, Joseph came to the U.S. in 1951. Mr. Nocera was a retired garment worker, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved gardening. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was predeceased by his brothers Nunzio and Vincent Nocera, and his son-in-law Paul J. Censoplano. Surviving are his wife Mary Nocera, daughters Donna Censoplano, Frances Nocera, and Nancy Nocera, granddaughter Teresa Censoplano, brother Pasquale Nocera, and sister Nancy Gaglioti. Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday 10:00AM at St. Gabriel’s Historic R.C. Church (located on the cemeteries grounds) Route 520, Marlboro.
