Obituary of Joseph M. Williams

Dr. Joseph M. Williams of Jackson, N.J. passed away at home on March 18th, 2020.  He was a devoted husband, a loving father and an adoring grandfather.  He leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, Joanne Williams,his three children and their families: Jeff and Bryna Williams, Steve Williams and Margie Switzer, and Alexis and Tory Profaci, plus his seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Joan Williams of Jersey City.

Dr. Williams had a passion and love for Dentistry, spanning through the decades. He graduated from Seton Hall University, and UMDNJ.  Soon after, he opened his first practice on Kensington Avenue in Jersey City, before opening Summit Plaza Dental Group where he practiced for over 30 years.  He was happily able to continue practicing until last year.

Dr. Williams was loved by family and friends alike and will be deeply missed.  He will be laid to rest at the Holmdel Cemetery in a private ceremony for his family.  A memorial ceremony will be announced at a later date when friends and family can gather together in an effort to keep those whom he loved safe.
