Obituary of Geraldine Stephan
Geraldine Stephan, 72, of Brooklyn died on Monday, March 9 after a strong battle with illness.
She was born in Brooklyn in 1947 to the late Sayde Krosnick and Nathan Saal, where she grew up and lived for her entire life.
Prior to her retirement in 2001, Geraldine worked for the non profit Mishkon Jewish Board.
The things that brought her the most joy during her life were her enjoyment of music, especially Elvis, Television shows, talking on her phone with others, ice cold beverages, Italian ice, and of course times spent with her family.
She is predeceased by her two sisters: Lynn Saal and Rosalind Morris.
Surviving is her son: Michael and his wife Angela Stephan of Morganville; her two grandchildren: Michael Louis, and Leanna; her niece Melissa and her husband Paul DeFrancesco; and great-niece Shayna and great-nephew Logan.
Visitation from 11-1pm on Thursday, March 12 at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel, followed by a service. Entombment will follow at Mount Sanai Cemetery & Mausoleum, 374 Hwy 79, Marlboro, NJ 07751.
