Obituary of Donald J. Beyun

Donald J. Beyun, 49 of Holmdel died at his home on Friday, February 28^th. 

He was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to the Atlanta, Georgia in 1978. He was a 1993 graduate of the Stern Business School in New York University with a dual degree in business and finance. Don was the Vice President of Risk Assessment for DZ Bank, New York where he worked for 10 years.

His great passion was his sons and teaching and coaching them in baseball, both Parker and Pierce are still playing.

He was diagnosed two years ago with a brain tumor. His resolve was to enjoy each and every experience with his family and enjoy their time together. 

Surviving Don is his wife Barbara Beyun; their two sons, Parker and Pierce; mother Young Pyun, and his sister Susie Kim, and her husband John.

Funeral services Monday, March 2^nd,  6 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Private cremation services will be on Tuesday at Holy Cross Crematory, East Brunswick. In respect to Don’s family, they have asked not to send flowers but to make a contribution to Memorial Sloane Kettering, at www.mskcc.org in his name to further cancer research and aid other families.
