Obituary of Leonardo Nixon Fabricius

Leonardo Nixon Fabricius died suddenly on February 23, 2020 at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, New Jersey.

Leonardo (Leo) was born on December 18, 2019 to Alexandria Fabricius and Kyle Murphy at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune NJ.  Leo was deeply loved and brought immense joy to all those around him. Leo loved to be held and rocked to sleep. His brother Lorenzo, at 16 months old, was very curious and loving toward his baby brother.

Leo will always be loved by his parents, Alexandria and Kyle; his brother Lorenzo; his maternal grandfather, Wayne Fabricius and his partner Hope Dolan; his maternal grandmother, Nancy Fabricius; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Debbie Murphy; his paternal great-grandparents, Diane Ashworth, Don and Carol Ashworth; his uncle's Matthew Murphy and Peter Fabricius and many extended family members.

Private services for Leonardo were held at the Holmdel Funeral Home, Holmdel New Jersey on February 28, 2020. The Rev. J. Brooks Smith presided at the service for family and close friends. Leo was laid to rest at St. Vladimir’s Russian Orthodox Christian Cemetery, Jackson, New Jersey. Fr. Paul Kucynda conducted the burial service.
