Jane and I didn't know Tim too many years but we will never forget what a wonderful man he was. Tim and I served on the DESA National Executive Board together. I was so happy to see him elected as Skipper. His heart was in the organization. Tim loved people and you couldn't help but love him. We will miss him dearly.
We sincerely wish all the best to Tim's mom and his family. We definitely know he is with our Lord. May our Lord comfort you.
Love,
Jane and Roger Garner

I only know Tim from attending Blue Claw games for the last 7 or 8 years and a Destroyer Escort Sailors Assn. luncheon. He was very memorable because of his patriotism and his love of life. He was funny and could always lift your spirits. I'll miss him and will never forget him. May God bless him.

I am very sad to hear this news. I was friends with Tim in middle school in Highland Park in the early 70's. I moved to Arizona as a teen, but we reconnected a few years ago and had a great conversation!
My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. The Lord is with you, his family and Tim.
Very truly yours,
Ken Weigend

Oh Tim, I'm so sorry that your light has left this earth. I know you struggled with your health and that is a horrible difficulty. From Brahms German Requiem (Ecclesiastes 51:27), "Ye see how for a little while I labor and toil, yet have I found much rest." I am glad you now have rest, Tim.
