Obituary of William Mark McCullough

On Tuesday, William Mark McCullough passed away at the age of 57 in his father's home in Matawan where he has resided with his former wife and companion, Debbie, for the last few years. Willy was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Helen, and is survived by his father, Bill McCullough (and his companion, Sue) his step father Russell Bryant, his siblings, Laura, Steven, Amanda (and her spouse, Wes), & Zach McCullough, and Melissa and Russell Bryant (and their partners, Charlie & Terry). He was also predeceased by his Uncle George, with whom he was quite close and is also survived by his Aunts Adele and Judy, and his Uncle Marty, as well as cousins Mark, Kim, Eric, & Diane. He is also survived by his step children from his former marriage.

Willy worked as a Stationary Engineer in Union Local 94 in New York City for many years. He was born in Jersey City but grew up in Colonia, and he was an avid music fan who not only was a "Parrot Head" (Jimmy Buffett), but a "dead head" (Grateful Dead & Jerry Garcia), & Dylan fan, and he was a talented song-lyricist himself who wrote poems and songs. Much of his work was produced in the Adamz Cat's CDs, which can be found online at Reverb Nation. Willy also had a passion for photography and took thousands of photos revealing an eye for color, light, & texture in urban and natural landscapes. Willy's biggest passion in life seemed to have been friendship, and in addition to his family, he was much beloved by friends from all stages of his life, including many childhood friendships he maintained for decades.
