Obituary of Joseph Nicholas D'Amadeo
Joseph Nicholas D’Amadeo, 89, of Manalapan passed away on Tuesday morning, December 10th, 2019. Born in Brooklyn, NY he was a resident of Manalapan at the time of his passing.
He served his country during the Korean War as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army.
Prior to his retirement, he worked long and hard as the owner of Joe’s Fancy Fruit and Vegetables, in Brooklyn, NY. He took great pride in his business, and enjoyed customers who shopped at his store on a daily basis for the best and the freshest fruits and vegetables.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and loved to spend time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife Anne, his sons and their wives, Frank and Suzanne of Manalapan, Patrick and Maria of Manalapan, and Joseph and Tracy of Holmdel, and by his seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 12, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, and from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be offered for Joseph on Friday, December 13th at 9:15 AM at the Church of St. Catharine, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel. Entombment will then follow at the Holmdel Mausoleum.
