Obituary of Luane Chang

Luane Chang, of West Orange, NJ passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 65. Born in Taiwan, she came to the United States in 1982. She resided in Nutley, NJ for 24 years before moving to West Orange. 

Luane worked at Evergreen Shipping in Jersey City for over 35 years. She loved reading, cooking, and traveling, and most of all, she loved her children. She had a green thumb. 

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria Chang and Xiaowei Zheng of New York City; her son, Aland Chang, of West Orange; her brothers Simon Hu and Chi-Ming Hu, both of Taiwan; and her sisters Ivee Hu of California, and Diana Hu and Shan Shan Hu, both of Taiwan. There will be a small gathering in memory of Luane in Holmdel on Saturday, September 21, 2019.
