Obituary of Patricia Viti

Patricia Viti (Manieri) 56 of Ankeny, Iowa passed away on September 8, 2019 in Iowa City, Iowa.

Patricia was born in Brooklyn, NY to Ignacio and Madeline Manieri on October 29, 1962. She went to high school at St. Edmunds HS and graduated in 1980. 

She went on to earn a degree in Business Administration from St. Francis College, Brooklyn, NY. and received a Presidential Scholarship.

She worked as Commodities Manager for Morgan Stanley for 18 years and American Equity Insurance for the past year. 

She loved the theatre, concerts, her New York Rangers and Giants. She loved making her home for the holidays, especially Christmas, Easter and Halloween. 

Patricia is survived by her husband Eugene Viti Jr. of Ankeny, Iowa, daughters Madeline Jeanne and Jessica Lynne and son Eugene III. 

She is also survived by sisters Carmen Jost, Beatrice Sparapani (Gary) and JoAnn Smith (Chad). She also leaves behind in laws Deborah Viti and James Cogan, nephews, Joseph, Gary and Steven Sparapani, Frank McHugh, Thomas Drake, Alexander Drake, Spencer, Christian, Everett and Sawyer Smith. Her nieces, Alexis McHugh, Nicole Drake, Lisa Jost, and Veronica Jallad and her nephew Michael.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ignacio and Madeline Manieri.

Visitation will be held at Holmdel Funeral Home 26 Holmdel Rd. Holmdel, NJ on September 12 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Church, 727 State Route 36, Union Beach, New Jersey on September 13, 2019 at 9:30 AM.  Burial will follow at Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel NJ.

Memorial donations may be made to The Animal Rescue League of Iowa at Animal Rescue League.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the University of Iowa Medical Center Neurosurgical ICU unit, and Memorial Services of Iowa.
