Obituary of Lucille Marie Stecky

Mrs. Lucille Marie Stecky, 84, formerly of Parlin, passed away at home surrounding by her family on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.   Lucille was born in Newark and after marrying Daniel they moved to Parlin and live there for 45 years.  They eventually moved to Little Egg Harbor.

Lucille was a homemaker and a wonderful mom. She loved cooking, especially desserts.  Her signature dessert was her homemade cheesecake, which many friends and relatives enjoyed.  

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Lucille loved spending time with her family. 

Lucille is survived by her son Daniel A. Stecky of Wilmington, North Carolina, her daughters Dawn and her husband Peter Schladebeck of Freehold, and Elaine and her husband Gregory Bonin of Hillsborough, NJ, and her four grandchildren Joseph, Jessica, Nicole and Dana.

A private family gathering will take place on Monday morning at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday July 1st at 10:00 A.M.at the Church of St. Mary, One Phalanx Road, Colts Neck, NJ.  Interment will then follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery 53 Inman Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ.
