PART 1 of 2 My Uncle Frank was very special to me. We developed a close friendship in his later years. At least twice a week, I would speak to Uncle Frank regarding his medical conditions, and he used to make me chuckle when he called me his “personal physician”, as if he were a Head of State! When he was undergoing treatment for his MDS and was experiencing side effects, he jokingly referred to himself as “The Flower”. However, I can assure you that Frank Fabrizio was a very strong man. I admired his resilience, as well as his ability to accept whatever came his way. He managed to keep his spirits up. When he had setbacks, he always moved forward, and never looked back.

PART 2 of 2 My Uncle Frank had many attributes: He was not only a very intelligent man, he was also a talented golfer, the ultimate salesman, a wonderful uncle, and was so affable and easy to talk to. If you were fortunate, Frank liked you - and what a friend he was. I will miss him very much, but I will always have the fond memories of our many conversations, as well as the enjoyable times we spent together. Rest in peace, Uncle Frank. - Your nephew David

So sorry to hear of Frank's passing . I.ve known Frank since the 50's when we used to go to Columbia High ( our alma mater )football games and question the coach's competence . And on Monday nites , he would come to our house for dinner , before he went bowling with his brother , Sam . You were a good guy , Frank , and I always enjoyed your company . My uncle was a colorful and unique man who will forever be associated with animated football games and big family get togethers that sometimes had him sneaking away for a few minutes of peace up to his bedroom. I look back at that time fondly like many of my family do realizing that it was one of the happiest times...the simplicity of just being together and enjoying each others company. My Uncle Frank, I have him to thank for my nickname "AJ". When I was young, he would say, "Hey AJ, AJ Foyt". I was like, who is AJ Foyt? I'll never forget our Thanksgiving Days at the Fabrizio's, my father and Uncle Frank would be downstairs watching football, and the colorful language and constant yelling at the TV, was a sure sign their team was not doing well and we should stay upstairs! He had a great sense of humor, he will join my Dad in Heaven and hopefully the two of them will not bust too many chops up there! RIP
