Mrs. Scognamillo was born in New York City, and lived in Howard Beach, Queens, N.Y., until she moved to Holmdel, N.J. 12 years ago. She was a parishioner of Holy Family R.C.Church in Union Beach, NJ, and she attended We Care Adult Center in Middletown NJ. She was predeceased by her husband Alfonso in 2002, a son John in 1994, four brothers and four sisters. Surviving is her son Anthony and his wife Diana of Holmdel, 2 grandchildren Keri Ann Rizzo and her husband Michael, Christopher Scognamillo , and one great granddaughter Vanessa Rizzo. Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM. A Funeral mass will be offered at 10:00AM on Wednesday at Holy Family R.C.Church in Union Beach. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, in Middletown NJ.
