Sadie Adinolfe 99, of Hazlet passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Born in Jersey City, Sadie lived in Hazlet for 40 years. She was a parishioner of St. Benedict R.C. Church, loved going to Atlantic City, and playing Bingo. Mrs. Adinolfe thoroughly enjoyed her frequent vacation trips to Florida. She made many trips to Ann Arbor, Michigan to visit her granddaughter and family. She took an interest in her cooking for the many family gatherings and holidays. Mrs. Adinolfe was loving and devoted to her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband Santi Adinolfe in 1994, and her brother William Bongiovanni. Surviving are her daughter Maryann Carlomusto, sister Theresa Polifrone, grandchildren Joseph Carlomusto and Marieann Barratt, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 7-9PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday 10:30AM at St. Benedict R.C. Church 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel. Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport.
