I had the privilege of deep conversation with Joanna because of our "Clergy Moms" commitment the past few years and our shared Israel pilgrimage in 2010. I appreciate Joanna's gentle strength and amazing endurance. She kept faith, not only in Christ, but also in her children, her congregants, and her Palestinian "sisters." She finally knows complete healing and peace.

to the family of mother Joanna..while vacationing in Avalon n.j. went to st john by the sea church and heard Pastor Deborah share the passing of Pastor Joanna, I was shocked..I met her while she was doing an interim pastor at St gabriels episcopalchurch in Douglassville pa..loved her and all she had done and brought to st gabe's.Such a strong and courageous woman...I missed her when she left st gabes and am sad that Gods work is done for her here on earth.Didn't realize she was 71..Thank you for sharing such a wonderful woman,pastor and mom. appreciatively Barbara j hunt
