It is with a very heavy heart that I wish the Lukenda family my deepest condolences. Kim was a very dear friend to me. She reached out to me with her very kind heart without even knowing who I was many years ago when I lost my husband. We became friends. Then she was the voice of strength and encouragement to me while I fought my own battle 3 years ago. At the time she never even let me know that she was fighting her own battle again. She will forever be in my heart, my thoughts and my prayers and I will miss her dearly.

We were blessed to have known Kim since our children Logan and Salma were together in Oakhill. She was a beautiful Soul, full of goodness. She loved her family and friends dearly and never complained about what she was going through. We were so blessed to have had Kim in our lives for 15+ years. We enjoyed her wonderful spirt and joy for life. Jay and I so enjoyed spending time with her and the family in Beach Haven. Kim was a beautiful light and we are so blessed to have known her. She will forever be in our hearts as a kind and wonderful person who was full of love and grace. Every sunset on LBI reminds me of her! Rest in peace!

It’s hard to say what catches your eye first when you see Kim. Her gorgeous piercing blue eyes, perfect smile or overall presence.
Regardless of what you notice first, it’s her heart and kindness that draws you in and keeps you there.

Our hearts go out to the Lukenda family. Kim surely was a prescence of grace, class, & strength. Always a smile on her face & her pride in her family was very clear.
