My husband Ivan asked me today if I remember meeting Andi for the first time. I said "yes, 40 years ago at Pied Piper Nursery School" (our sons had become fast friends). For the past 30 years, Andi has been my best friend. She has been there to see me through tough times and share good times as well. I have not just lost a great friend, but my daily/weekly routine is forever changed as well. No more 8:30AM daily phone calls, and no more lunches out several times per week. That was our routine. Several times a day I find myself saying "Oh, I need to tell Andi this" or "I want to talk to Andi about that." No one was a better listener.
Andi has shared countless stories about her two wonderful grandsons. What a treat hearing about Jaden and Asher, their joy of sports and their fun with their Grandmother. She got out there and really played, not just watched. She is dearly missed by her family, friends and all the lives she has touched.
