Obituary of Clara Anna Asaro

Clara Anna Asaro, 84 of Bedford Hills, NY passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019.  Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Freehold, NJ before moving to Bedford Hills, NY 11 years ago.

She was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and was an active member of the Bedford Seniors.  While living in Freehold, she and her husband Vincent were parishioners of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.  

Clara was pre-deceased by her husband Vincent in 2004.  She is survived by her son Stephen and his wife Mary Ellen of Middletown, her son Vincent and his wife Marianne of Lincroft, and her daughter Diana and her husband William of Bedford Hills, NY. She is also survived by her six grandchildren Christian, Alexandria, Melissa, Sean, Elizabeth and William and her sister Rose of Staten Island, NY.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 4 from 4:00-8:00PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel.  A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Tuesday morning at 9:00AM at Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 1 Phalanx Road, Colts Neck, NJ. Entombment to follow at St. Gabriels Mausoleum, Marlboro.
