I have never met a funnier and kinder individual in my life. She always treated me and the rest of Tommy's friends like family and that included busting our chops as much as she did her own children. She was awesome. God bless you Mrs. Cos.

I consider myself fortunate to have spent time with Jane, Her life is the definition of a life well lived. We can all learn the lesson she taught of making the most of each day.

My fondest memory of Jane is her smile. She was always smiling and laughing no matter what the situation, always making the time she spent with people fun and enjoyable. I used to love to watch her listen to her grandchildren so intently. It was obvious how much she loved and appreciated them. You are missed! Jane, the angels are laughing with you, and heaven is smiling bigger now that you are there.

What a pity we have to go through all this suffering. I cannot even imagine the pain of what you are going through. In at time like these only God could give us the strength and comfort we need, in 2 Corinthians 1:3 says that the God and father of our lord Jesus Christ, the father of tender mercies and God of comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulations. I hope Jehovah God gives you the comfort you need and help you with all your pain. Sorry for your loss.

Dear Cousin Jane,
I just now learned of your passing. I did not see you for so many years but never forgot you and your family. A few days ago I was thinking about you and Skippy. I thought about long ago when I was a little boy visiting you, Skippy and my cousins. I always loved it whenever I got to go to your house and spend time with all of you. Some things that are so clear in my mind are going to the supermarket with you (Pathmark) and you opening up a huge bag of pretzels as you shopped and us eating them. I thought we were going to get in trouble and you laughed. I still remember that laugh so clearly even now.
Whenever Tracy and I visited you always took us to the Sweet Shop for candy. One memory in particular stands out in my mind always. You bringing me to the rec center to swim in the huge pool there. One afternoon I practiced all day swimming under water trying to swim entire length without coming up for air. That evening before it closed you brought me back when it was empty of pretty much all other swimmers. You stood on opposite side of the pool and encouraged me that I could do it. And I did it. I felt so proud when I came up on other side to you clapping and cheering. You made sure anyone present made a big deal of my accomplishment. Ever since then I always held that special memory close to my heart. Thank you for that.
Love,
Jamie

Dear Cousin Jane,
May Our Lord forgive you your sins and shortcomings and bring you home.
I remember your smile, your hearty laugh, your kindness and your zany sense of humor. You and Skippy took me on a "trip" to upstate New York when I was a little boy, and I never forgot your concern for me, a wee poor lad in Brooklyn. You and Skip bought me a pennant in a shop on that day trip. It said "Florida, NY" and I put it up in my room in our railroad flat on Carlton Avenue where it stayed for years. Whenever I saw you over the years, I thought of that pennant on my wall.
Now, it has come time for us to part ways, but God willing, we will see each other again. On behalf of Annie, Tommy and Aine, I say "Slan anois agus go n-eiri an bothar leat!" "Goodbye, for now, and may the road ahead be kind to you!" (in Irish).

Our love to the entire family--Skippy, Cathy, Tommy, Eileen and Timmy, all the grandchildren, Brian, Rose and Dan and your wonderful sister, Betty. The prayers continue!
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
