Obituary of Beatrice Elizabeth Klatsky
Beatrice Elizabeth Klatsky (nee Gil), 76, longtime resident of the Strathmore section of Aberdeen, NJ, recently of Franklin Park, NJ, passed peacefully Saturday evening, January 19, 2019, surrounded by friends and family.
Beatrice raised her two sons, Jay & Carl, in Aberdeen. She worked for ten years in the Monmouth County prosecutor’s office in Freehold, NJ, then transitioned over to Ft. Monmouth, Eatontown, NJ, working there from 1990 until the base’s closure in 2011. She received her Associate Degree from Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, NJ. Beatrice was an active member of her church, Epic International (previously named Faith Fellowship Ministries), South Amboy, NJ, including serving as a Deacon.
Beatrice is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Jay & Lizanne Klatsky, with grandchildren Lauren & Justin; her son and daughter-in-law Carl & Hilary Klatsky, with grandson Benjamin; her sister and brother-in-law Barbara & Jose Vila; her sister Lenore Gil; and multiple nieces & nephews. Beatrice was pre-deceased by her parents Carlos & Ramona Gil and her sister Ana Perez.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 24th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 25th at 10:30 am at Epic International – Faith Fellowship Ministries, 2707 Main Street Extension, Sayreville, NJ with Interment to follow at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery, 361 Highway 79, Marlboro, NJ.
