Obituary of Barb Pistilli

Barbara A. Kuhn Pistilli, 62, of Wayside died on Saturday, December 22nd in New York City. A graduate of Shore Regional High School and Villanova University, she received her degree in accounting and embarked on her career, but quickly switched to the marketing field.

She had a career of 40 years in the marketing and sales fields at Concurrent Computer Corp., Ericsson Mobile and Hatteras Press where she was the VP of Sales and Marketing.

Barbara was gracious, loving and kind. Affectionately known as “Lucy” from Charlie Brown, she was a problem solver with a soft touch. This connection with others led her to create long-lasting friendships with many she came to know over the years.

A girly girl by nature, Barbara loved everything about fashion and potions and took pride in her appearance.  Fastidious, dignified and quietly witty, she enjoyed living in the moment, often with a wine glass in hand. Her hobbies included gardening, baking and exercising.  Everyone who knew her will miss her extraordinary hugs.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 35 years, Louis Pistilli; her sisters and their husbands, Marylee and George Rahey and Cindy and Bob Polsen; her mother and father-in-law, Marie and John Pistilli; her sister-in-law and husband, Jayanne and Francis Tedesco and her three nephews and two nieces.  She was pre-deceased by her parents Louise and George Kuhn.
