Obituary of Mafalda Coseglia

Mafalda Coseglia, 90, of Colts Neck, NJ passed away at Centra State Medical Center on Wednesday, December 19^th, 2018.  Born in New York, Mafalda moved to New Jersey years ago.

Prior to her retirement, she worked for the NYC Board of Education as a Teacher, Assistant Principal, and Assistant Superintendent. She retired from her career as the Principal at P.S. 35 in Staten Island, N.Y.

She had a strong faith and was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church, in Colts Neck for many years.

She was predeceased by her parents, by an infant sister Anna , by her brothers Ben and Emidio Coseglia, by her sisters Rose Brown and Elizabeth Bracco, and by her nephew Dr. Thomas Bracco, DDS.

She is survived by 5 nieces and nephews, Kara Sce, James and David Coseglia, and Lucas and Remington Brown, and several grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ on Friday, December 21^st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.  A Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Saturday December 22^nd, at 9:00 A.M. at St. Marys’ R.C. Church, 1  Phalanx Road, Colts Neck, NJ. Interment will then follow at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, N.Y.
