Obituary of Charles E. Morse
Veteran - U.S.Army - Korean War Charles E Morse, 81, of Freehold formerly of Holmdel NJ passed away on Sunday January 20th, 2013 at Hope Hospice, Ft. Myers, FL.. Mr. Morse was an electrical engineer at Bell Labs in Holmdel, retiring in 1989. He was a graduate of Ohio State University, an Army Veteran of the Korean War, a former Scout master with Holmdel Troop 331, and a former coach with the Holmdel Youth Athletic Association. He lived in Holmdel for 36 years before moving to Freehold 5 years ago. He was a loving and beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Surviving are his wife of 57 years Mary, three sons and their wives David (Wendy), Donald (Linda) and Charles (Caren), a sister Elaine Ratcliffe, and eight grandchildren Zachary, Alison, Hillary, Donald, Charles, Megan, Rebecca, and Emily. Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Services will be on Friday 10AM at the funeral home. Interment will then follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, NJ. Donations in Charles' name may be made to the Michael J.
