I will treasure the times with Marie as my aunt who always had a smile for me. She personified a full and passionate life and, along with all the achievements listed in her obituary, was a loving mother, made a warm and inviting home, and always had some fun up her sleeve. The coffee pot was always ready and she loved to have a gathering of friends and family. Her sense of humor, love of life, and courage under many challenging conditions have been a beacon in my life. I have been blessed to be her niece.
