Scott & Peggy Kenny & Debbie Nick & Jean I am so sorry for your loss of your MOM, a fabulous lady. Pat brought joy and laughter into everyones life she touched. She was so much fun to be around. When I would come east, Pat and Capt Garbage would care for me like I was one of their own and we had a ball. Ill miss both. The times we went to dinner in the Bentley, with Andy wearing his chauffeurs hat and Pat & I sitting in the back like celebrities. We never stopped laughing with all of the shenanigans that happened during those outings. I also remember chow time at the County Line BBQ, where we all ate like wolves and laughed like clowns. When I talked to my kids, they all remembered those good times. I hope this food brings a little comfort and some fond memories. In my times of sorrow, after I lost my Mom, all I thought about where the wonderful times we had. Those good thoughts still comfort me when I look at the picture of her, at 84, sitting on Santas lap, sporting sunglasses with her ball cap on backwards, and remembering she told Santa he could leave his shoes under her bed anytime. The kids were shocked but my heart fills with joy and love every time I look at it. Remember your Mom the same way. She was a fun loving, kind and loveable lady. With LOTS of LOVE - Jolly, Brandi, J.J. & Robbie.

Dear Family - Kenny and Debbie, Nick and Jean, Scott and Peggy and all the grandkids that Pat adored, My heart and love are with you even though I am not with you physically. I have always had a very special place in my heart for your family and loved Pat very much. Pat and Andy and the rest of you were my home away from home during college. I cherish my memories of holiday dinners, and long weekends with my crazy relatives in New Jersey. I have always spoken of you all fondly and enjoyed when you came to Texas for visits. In particular I will never forget the hilarious scene when we descended upon County Line together. Pat was a collector of stories, mugs, eggs, and who could forget the nutcrackers?! I particularly valued Pats stories...I regret never recording any of her unique tales of our family members. No one remembered or told the family history like Pat. I'm grateful that I got to have some nice conversations with Pat in the last month. I apologized to her (and now to all of you) for not being available or supportive when Andy died. I love you all very much. I wish you comfort and joy in all the great memories you have with Pat who loved you all so much. Peace, Brandi Clark

Dear Ken and Deb, Scott and Peggy, Jean and Nick, and all the grandkids, I loved Pat with all my heart. She was there for me my whole life. I have so many memories of her, from the time I was a little girl. She was one of the few people in the world that I shared so much history with, and I will miss her. I'll always remember when she and Andy visited us in Hawaii-- which started their annual Hawaiian sojourns. What stories! And I loved their visits to see me here in Texas. We always had such laughs. I always knew I had a home away from home there in Holmdel and thoroughly enjoyed my trips there. They broke the mold when they made Pat. She was truly one of a kind. She was a hard worker, a wonderful mom, and a great cousin and friend to me. And won't we all miss her hysterically funny stories? Life without Pat will certainly be duller. I am heartbroken that I can't be there with you this week. I have 40 kids in final dress rehearsals, the show opens Friday. I know Pat understands and is applauding the kids from heaven. I send you my deeply felt love and condolences. Love and warm hugs to all, Dede

Dear Scott, I was sorry to learn of your Mom's passing and wanted to extend my sympathies. I know this is a difficult time for you and your family. As you may recall, I lost my Dad when we were in high school, in 1976, and recently lost my Mom in May, 2006. It may sound odd, but hold fast to the memories. Somehow, after the tears, find a way to think of a happy time and eventually, the tears lead to a smile. The recollection of happy times and the memories will sustain you during the "low" times. My best wishes and deepest sympathies to you and your family. Sincerely, Jess Stout
