My dear Vivian: Friends since grade school, like sisters in the end, you are one of life's lessons I will never forget. You taught me to be a stronger woman in family, profession and prayer. I cried when you left the first time in Shanghai when life was simple and it was child's play. You were the first to greet me with open arms in 1950 at Union Station, in Washington DC when I went to Catholic University for my post graduate studies. You took care of me like family and navigated my way to living my best life. You were my best friend - 60 years strong. I cried when you left the first time. I cry now, comforted only by the fact that your legacy remains, your inspiration like a whisper in the wind, and you are now in a better place, without pain or worry. Until we meet again dear friend. Greet me with open arms. I will be runnng to feel the embrace. Miss you. With prayers always,
