Alice Hencoski, 92, of Holmdel passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015 at her home. Born in Newark, N.J. she was a graduate of East Side High School in Newark. She moved to Holmdel in 1957. Prior to her retirement, Alice was a legal secretary for many years. She was a former member of the Holmdel Half Century Club, and the Holmdel Senior Citizens. She was a volunteer for SCAN – the Senior Citizens Activity Network of Monmouth County, and was a volunteer at the Monmouth Museum. Alice was predeceased by her husband Nicholas in 2011. Surviving are her three sons and their wives Nicholas and his wife Christine of Barnegat, Paul and his wife Judith of Middletown, and Joseph and his wife Becky of Pinellas Park, FL., her daughter Arlene and her husband Kevin Moscaritolo of Greer, SC., her 10 grandchildren, her 11 great grandchildren and a great grandchild to be born this summer. Visitation will be on Thursday February 19th from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, N.J. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday February 20th at 9:15 A.M., at St. Catharine R.C.Church 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel.Interment will then follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J.
