PATRICIA L. WHELAN, 77, of MIDDLETOWN, passed away at home on Saturday, December 13th. She was born in Spring Lake N.J., grew up in New Jersey, moved on to Ohio, and then returned to New Jersey. A Graduate of Mary Washington College, she did her graduate work at Rutgers University. Patricia taught for many years in both New Jersey and Ohio. She was a communicant of St. Catharines R.C.Church in Holmdel. Predeceased by her husband Charles, she is survived by her sons Charles and his wife Danette, Andrew, Michael and his wife Joanne, Matthew and his wife Barbara, her daughters Kathleen, and Mary and her husband Kevin Glynn, and her grandchildren Joshua, Zachary, Luke, Connor, and Coleen. She was truly loved by everyone who knew her. Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26-South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, on Monday from 2 to 4PM and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Catharines R.C.Church, Holmdel on Tuesday at 9:00AM.
