Richard L. Persson Sr. Richard L. Persson Sr. found peace on Wednesday, July 23rd, at home surrounded by family and friends, after a brave battle with cancer. The pride of his life was his wife Gelorma (Chomie), his children Synda and Scott Willand, Richard Jr. and Mari Persson, Sharyce Persson and Steve Nonnemacher, and Joede Persson and Robert Dimapilis, his grandchildren Richard III, Michael, Jacquelyn, Statler, Sharyce, Steffen, Carsyn, Layne and Tyler, and his beloved grand dog Baci. He leaves a brother Edmond Persson and his wife Lil, and a sister Mary Trafton. Dick touched many lives through his business - Little Silver Repair, Persson Outdoor Power, and many young men whose lives were changed because of his concern for life and providing a home like atmosphere for them at all times. His friends and neighbors at his home in Four Seasons brought much joy throughout his last years. His love of country never faltered as he served his country during World WarII with courage. He was an Expert Member of the River Plaza Hose Company, and both the Little Silver Fire and First Aid Squads.
