Josephine Cannizzaro, 97 of Middletown passed away on Sunday, September 28 at Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel. Born in New York, she lived in Baucina, Italy before moving to Jersey City where she spent most of her life before moving to Middletown in 2004 She worked as a seamstress for many years. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony and her son-in-law, Richard Ricigliano. She is survived by her children Andrew Cannizzaro and his wife, Josephine of Jersey City, Frank Cannizzaro and his wife, Beverly of Dayton, Marie Greco and her husband, Joseph of Brooklyn, and Joanne and Michael Ricigliano of Parlin. Along with her children, she was loved by her 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She will be forever missed but always remembered for the love she had for her family and her gentle and kind soul. Until we meet again Mom, Nanny, Grandma bye, bye, bye, bye, bye
