Obituary of Raymond L. Papirnik
Raymond Leslie Papirnik, Sr., 86, of Wall Twp., passed away Monday, October 29th at Care One, Wall Twp.
Son of the late James and Marie Hamil Papirnik, Raymond was born September 7, 1932 in Rahway, NJ. Raymond married Doris Seguin on December 20, 1953. He served in the US Navy for 8 years during the Korean War with a rank of 1st Class Communications Technician. Raymond and Doris resided in Port Monmouth for 47 years before moving to Assistant Living in Tinton Falls.
Raymond was employed at Servomat Vending Co. for 20+ years, and drove a school bus for Middletown Twp. after retirement. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Belford.
Raymond was predeceased by his wife, Doris, his parents James and Marie Papirnik, his brothers Robert and William, and his sister Dorothy.
Surviving are his children Robin Machi and her husband Norman, Sevierville, TN, Nancy Young, Freehold, Diana Hollenbach, Piscataway, Raymond Papirnik Jr. and his wife Tina, New Albany, PA, and James Papirnik and his wife Lori, Freehold; 11 grandchildren: Stephen, Christopher, Breanne, Matthew, Eric, Jessica, Thomas, Daniel, LeeAnn, Kenny, and Joshua, 1 great grandchild, Weston, and 6 nieces and nephews.
Visitation Friday, November 2nd, 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Funeral service Saturday, November 3rd 11:00 am at the funeral home.
