Margaret Thompson, 70, of Manalapan passed away at home, surrounded by her family on Thursday morning, October 11th, 2018. Margaret was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and had lived in Manalapan for 28 years. She loved vacationing, and traveling. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed working at her son’s business – New York Asphalt. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, by a brother Joseph Keaveny, and by her daughter Laura. She is survived by her sons and their wives, Michael and his wife Angela of Colts Neck, and Brian and his wife Amanda of Bridgewater, by her 4 grandchildren, by her sister Eileen Schwab of Lakeville, PA., and by her nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ on Friday, October 12th from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will be offered at the funeral home on Saturday morning at 10:30 A.M. Entombment will then follow at the Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, Holmdel.
