Angelina Santopietro, 84 of Holmdel, NJ, passed away on September 5th in Garden City, South Carolina. Angelina was predeceased by her husband Daniel, her sister Rose and daughter in law Cora Sue Villane - Santopietro. Ann (as she was known to her friends and family) was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1933. She was a truly loving parent, optimistic, compassionate, honest and kind person. She enjoyed being a member of the Dante Alighieri Society, Half Century Club and the Holmdel and Hazlet Senior Clubs. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, shopping, Broadway shows, fashion shows, cooking, bingo and most importantly - time with her family. Ann especially enjoyed gallivanting around and having lunch with her girlfriends Beverly, Carolyn, Ray & Maria. She loved to travel, explore new places and was always up for a long scenic car ride. She is survived by her children - Robert Santopietro of Myrtle Beach SC, Mary Ann Santopietro of Keyport NJ, Margaret and Chuck Hendricks of Monmouth Beach and Danielle Santopietro of Lucerne CA, as well as her grandchildren - Robert, Angela, Taylor, Morgan and Daniel, and her sisters - Nina Kousoulos and Sarah Montagna, along with many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by anyone who knew her and finally reunited with the love of her life - her husband Daniel and the many others who were dear to her. Visitation Monday, September 10th 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, September 11th 9:00 am at St. Mary Church, 1 Phalanx Road, Colts Neck. Entombment to follow in Holmdel Mausoleum.
