Obituary of Ricco Rios
Ricco Rios, 45, of Aberdeen, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on the evening of July 22, 2018. Ricco was born in New Brunswick, and lived with his family in Aberdeen.
Ricco was a graduate of East Stroudsburg University, and subsequently joined the U.S. Army. Ricco worked as a Warehouse Manager for California Cartage, in Bethlehem, PA; Ricco loved his job, and loved working.
Ricco was an avid Mets and Jets fan, and also loved Rutgers football. He loved attending sporting events, watching sports, and watching re-runs of TV shows in his man cave. Most importantly, Ricco loved being at home with his Wife and daughters, going on family vacations, and attending family parties and events.
Ricco was predeceased by his parents, Felix and Fannie Mae, as well as by his older brother, Tony Barnes. He is survived by his loving wife Joelyn (nee Walsh), his daughters Olivia and Madison Rios, his brothers Felix and Kevin Rios, his sister Terry Barnes, his beloved mother-in-law Marianne Walsh, his brothers-in-law John Walsh, Scott Walker and John Nappi; his sisters-in-law Marianne Walsh, Kathleen DiMatteo, Christine Walker, Jacqueline Gray, and Nancy Nappi, and by many nieces and nephews. Ricco will be remembered for his generosity, caring and giving nature, and will be missed beyond belief by his entire family.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Holmdel Funeral Home located at 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday July 28, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Benedict R. C. Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, NJ 07733.
