Mary E. Funck, 87 formerly of Aberdeen, died on Tuesday June 19 surrounded by her loving family at Care One of Wall. She was a parishioner of St. Benedict’s RC Church, Holmdel for approximately 50 years where she was also the parish secretary. Mary was pre-deceased by her husband, Robert H. Funck in 2007; her parents, Mary and Thomas Graham; her siblings, Rev. Thomas Graham, Rev. Raymond Graham, Virginia Antola, Catherine Phraner; and her granddaughter, Hannah R. Duffy in 2013. She is survived by her 7 devoted children, Gerard and Patricia Funck, Newtown, Pa., Mary and Allen Walsh, Toms River, James and Christine Funck, Rumson, Anne and Michael Kodack, Holmdel, Eileen and Daniel Rose, Wall, John and Susan Funck, Tinton Falls, and Helen and Joseph Bueti, Marlboro; and her 15 beloved grandchildren, Colleen Funck, Daniel Funck, Katie and Michael Salnick, Stephen Walsh, Lauren Walsh, Julia Funck, Eileen Kodack, Julianne Kodack, Laura Kodack, Kelly Kodack, Erin Rose, Daniel Rose, Robert Funck, Emily Bueti, and Nicholas Bueti. Visitation Tuesday, June 26th, 4 to 8 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, June 27th, 10 am, St. Benedict’s RC Church, Holmdel; 1 pm interment services will follow at Brigadier William C. Doyle Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
