Obituary of Pastor David T. Demola
Pastor David T. Demola, 74, of Colts Neck, NJ passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. The youngest of three boys, Pastor Demola was born in New Brighton, Staten Island, NY to Joseph and Rose (D’Amore) Demola on April 13th, 1943.
In 1980, Pastor Demola began a home Bible study, which rapidly grew into what is now known as Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center. Faith Fellowship is a growing congregation of 10,000 attendees. In addition to his responsibilities as pastor, Pastor Demola ministered via a weekly international telecast called The Teaching Ministry of David T. Demola. Each year he hosted an International Pastors and Ministers Conference (IPMC) that hosts delegates from over 150 nations. Also, he had an extensive media and literature outreach. In 2001 he began Faith International Training School which has trained some thousands of students from over 100 nations of the World. As the leader of Covenant Ministries International, he headed a large body of ministers. He is assisted in this work by a team of apostolic leaders, who together with him provide counsel, training, encouragement, and mentorship to churches, ministers, and pastors both in the U.S. and around the World.
Pastor Demola is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Rose Demola, brothers, Joseph Demola Jr. and James Demola, nephew Joseph Demola III and niece Janice Demola.
He is survived by Diane (Johnston) Demola, his wife of 35 years and Co-Pastor of Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center. Five children and their spouses, Steven and Megan Mastropiero, Jeffrey and Geovanna Mastropiero, Jodi and Jeff Powers, Cynthia and PJ Oliveira and Jaclyn and Israel Monteiro. The eleven grandchildren from oldest to youngest are Michael and Francesca Powers, Payge Powers, Kelly Powers, Giavanna (Gigi) Powers, Brianna Pitre, David Pitre, Jordon Oliveira, Daniel Mastropiero, Grace Mastropiero, Jack Mastropiero, and Luke Mastropiero. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Visitation Monday, March 5th 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Faith Fellowship Ministries, 2707 Main Street, Sayreville, NJ followed by the Life Celebration service at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center that will be designated to Pastor Demola’s ongoing projects.
