I'm Steve Jewell. I live in Florida. My parents live at the end of the hall from the Cohen's. Over the past 4 or so years while visiting, I would often see the Cohen's in the hall with their aide. I would say "Good Morning, Mr. Mayor!" He would stand up as straight as he could from his walker and beam "You remembered!" He would usually follow with "I was the first Jewish mayor of Holmdel! We did a lot!" I would say "Yes, Sir." Then, invariably he would ask "Are you from Holmdel?" I would say "No, sir. Ocean Township." He would say "Oh" and move on as if I disappointed him. It was always the same exchange, and I think we each felt better for it. I wish I got to know him more. I am sorry for your loss, but I just wanted you to know I was thinking of you from St. Petersburg, FL. Steve Jewell
