My "Uncle Bud" was a man of honesty and integrity, with a great gift for a joke. Yes, they were old routines, but somehow he had a way of making them fresh and new. Having lost my mother at 6yrs. old, my Uncle Bud, and his beloved Dorothy (Aunt Dot to me) and the Graebe family et al were more than cousins, they were extended family. My Uncle Bud was skilled at loosening up my Dad. However, he did not have a mean bone in his body. His golf "treatises" could have made a book. The world has lost another member of the greatest generation. My prayers go out to the entire Graebe family. They were a larger part of my youth, than they realize. Their "reception" at the Shadowbrook is a fond memory. May they find comfort and peace.

Bud was a part of my life since I was 13 yrs old. I have many happy memories of his sense of humor, but most importantly, I will always remember his strong faith and his love for my sister Dot,and their wonderful family. May God bless you, "Henry". I will miss you....Terry

Dear Dorothy, Dave and family - We saw the sad news in the paper and wanted to say we're sorry and let you know we're thinking of you. We loved having Bud and you for next door neighbors for over 20 years! We always loved Bud's friendliness and cheerfulness and chatting with him out by the mailboxes! We will always remember his smile because he always made us smile! We miss him. We send our heartfelt condolences. You take care at this difficult time. Love, Rob and Joyce

My father was truly my "best friend" and the greatest man I have ever known. He was a magnificent example and role model to all. He taught us through his actions and devotion how to be good spouses, parents and grandparents and always remain faithful to God. God's speed to you Pop.
