Marilyn A. Nicholson 78, of Middletown passed away at home on January 8, 2013. Marilyn was born in the Bronx, NY where she married her husband Roger in 1954. Roger was drafted in to the Army and they moved to Columbus, GA and Schweinfurt, Germany. After returning to the U.S. in 1957 they lived in Morristown till 1976, and Lincroft prior to moving to Shadow Lake in 2002. Mrs. Nicholson was a parishioner and 25 year staff member of St. Catharine's R.C. Church in Holmdel, where she also served as a Sacristan and Activities Organizer. She was also a member of the Republican Club at Shadow Lake. She was predeceased by her son Edward. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Roger, 3 sons, Stephen and his wife Debra, of Groton, MA, Roger, of Stamford, CT and Peter and his wife Linda, of Leesburg, VA, and 3 grandchildren Kathyrn, Marissa, and Stephen Nicholson. A Mass celebrating her life will be offered 9:15AM Saturday, January 12, 2013 at St. Catharine's R.C. Church 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holmdel Funeral Home. In lieu of sending flowers, donations may be made in her honor to her beloved St. Catharine's R.C. Church, P.O.
