Alfonso Palladino, 82, of Toms River, passed away on Sunday, November 29th at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Italy, Mr. Palladino lived in Jersey City before settling in Union, then Allentown, and retiring in Toms River over 30 years ago. Prior to his retirement, he was a Supervisor at Lucent Technologies, formally Western Electric. He was an active member of the Jordan Martin Lodge No. 673. He was predeceased by, his parents Gennaro Palladino and Maria Carfora, his brothers Mario and Antonio, and his sister-in-law Lucy Palladino. He is survived by his son, Gennaro Palladino of Watchung NJ and daughters Rosanna Dooley of Hillsborough NJ, Silvia Monto of Hillsborough NJ, and Maria Mattson of Clayton NC, his brother Carlo Palladino of Italy and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael, Zachary, Joseph, Thomas and Regina. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 3rd from 4-8 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, December 4th at 10:30 AM at St. Benedict R.C. Church, 165 Bethany Rd. Holmdel NJ 07733. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum.
