John Patrick Walsh Jr., 51, passed away at home on Saturday, June 15, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, John moved to New Jersey years ago. He was a graduate of Raritan High School. John was employed as a Union Carpenter. He loved the Sea, and was an avid boater. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Toms River, and was a member of the Elks in Keyport. He is survived by his parents John and Frances Walsh, by a sister Pat and her husband Duff Anderson, a sister Ann and her husband Michael Baucus, a brother Jim and his wife Kerry, a brother Bob, a brother Jerry and his wife Susan, a brother Danny, and by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 – South Holmdel Road, Holmdel on Thursday June 19 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Benedict R.C.Church 165 – Bethany Road, Holmdel on Friday at 10:30 A.M. . Interment will then follow at Holmdel Cemetery.
