Chester J. Gorski, 83, of Middletown passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. Born in Jersey City, Chester was a Corporal in the U.S. Army and Korean War POW. Mr. Gorski worked as a Police Officer in Keansburg before becoming an Expert Carpenter and self-employed tradesman. Surviving are his wife Mary Gorski, his three children Patricia, Michael and his wife Elaine, and Leonard and his wife Lauren, his four grandchildren Thomas and his wife Kristin, Melissa and her husband Harry, Nicholas, and Myles, and his brother Robert. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00PM and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00AM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A funeral service will be offered in the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00AM. Entombment will be in the Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel.
