Obituary of Julia Grace Scevola
JULIA GRACE SCEVOLA (nee Quattrochio), 93, peacefully entered eternal life on June 15, 2011 at Regency Park Nursing Home in Hazlet. Born June 19, 1917 on her family's farm in Irwin, Pa. she relocated to New Jersey, residing in Newark, Union and Absecon. She lived a full and active life raising her family with her beloved husband, Victor, who predeceased her in 2001. She was also employed by several New Jersey corporations, retiring in 1982 from Revlon, Inc. She will be loved and remembered for her selfless sacrifices, her devotion to family, and for her devout faith, courage and grace she exemplified throughout her life . Her legacy is her surviving family of five daughters and three sons and their spouses, Grace Brennan and John, Vicki Bruno and Frank, Judee Scevola, Susan Scevola, Donna Beisler and Paul, Richard Scevola and Patricia, Robert Scevola and Joanne, and Michael Scevola. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, George, Brian, Karen and Chris Chadwick, Phil Bruno and Andrea Palmadesso, Michael Scevola, Lauren and Rachele Scevola, Brian Beisler and Nicolas Scevola, ten great-grandchildren, Justin and Kaetlyn Chadwick, Alexis and Cory Chadwick, Robyn, Krystina and Julia Augustine. Olivia and Matthew Bruno and Nicholas Palmadesso, and one great-great grandchild, Peyton Augustine. Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday 9:00AM at St. Catharine’s R.C. Church in Holmdel. Interment will be in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown.
