Robert Blish 80, of Manchester passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at home. Born in New York, NY Robert lived in Aberdeen prior to moving to Manchester 6 years ago. Mr. Blish worked as a Information Systems Manager for New York Telephone Company for 41 years, retiring in 1990. He was a former parishioner of St. Benedict R.C. Church in Holmdel. Robert was predeceased by his sister Nancy Kidd, and grandson David A. Blish, Jr. Surviving are his wife Catherine Blish, daughter Jacqueline Greenberg, and her husband Alex, 4 sons Robert B. Blish, and his wife Jody, John Blish, Thomas Blish, David Blish, and his wife Jenn, sister Margaret Baldinger, and 6 grandchildren Michael, Stephen, Brendan, Nicholas, Jennette, and Catherine. Visitation will be held Friday 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday 11:00AM at St. Benedict R.C.
