Obituary of Agnes M. Eperthener
Agnes 'Aggie' Mary Eperthener, 85, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family, on March 3, 2012. Proudly born, and raised, on a chicken farm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Aggie eventually moved to and settled in New Jersey with her beloved husband Le Roy William Eperthener. Aggie was the devoted mother of 4 daughters—Nancy Ann DeCotiis, Lee Ann Stockton, Lynn Ann Dragon and Patricia Ann Kearns—and the cherished grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 10. Her life was a celebration of laughter, deep faith and devotion to her family, friends and the Pittsburgh Steelers. From humble beginnings, Aggie earned the respect and adulation of everyone who came into her life. She was simply one of a kind and will be surely be missed by all these who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass to be held on Thursday, March 8 at 9:15 a.m. at St. Catharine's R.C. Church, Holmdel New Jersey. Entombment immediately following at the Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel, NJ.
