Obituary of Ralph A. Nappi
Ralph A. Nappi, 75, of Marlboro passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. Born in Perth Amboy, he was a graduated of St. Joseph's Grammar School, Keyport, St. Mary's High School, South Amboy, and the College of Holy Cross, Worcester, MA. Ralph was the President of Nappi Trucking, Matawan for over 50 years. Mr. Nappi was a parishioner of St. Gabriel's R.C. Church, Marlboro. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was predeceased by his parents Anthony G. and Lila Nappi, a son James Nappi, two daughters, Jeanne Ellen Nappi, and Marian Nappi, and a brother R. Louis Nappi. Surviving are his wife of 56 years Jeanne Nappi (nee Birmingham), two sons, Ralph Nappi, Jr and his wife Theresa, and Mark Nappi and his wife Nichole, a daughter Antoinette Thomas, 4 grandchildren Ralph Nappi III, Mary Elizabeth Andre, Anthony and Nicholas Nappi, and two great granddaughters Hannah Rose, and Victoria Marie. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday 10:00AM at St. Gabriel's R.C. Church, Marlboro. Interment will be in the Holmdel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mr. Nappi's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 740 Broad Street, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.
