Aunt Marie is greatly missed by my husband Andrew and I. She was forever a shining light. We could always rely on Aunt Marie to lift our spirits. Her kindness would make our day. She was a steady support for Andrew growing up. He always spoke so highly of his Aunt Marie and Uncle Mike. When our family had a hardship, she and Uncle Mike were at our home helping to paint and watch our daughter, with a delicious meal and bright smile. I am grateful for Aunt Marie and am blessed to have known her.

I remember her very kind smile and that I always looked forward to seeing her during our trips to Staten Island to visit the family. My Aunt Marie was always excited to see us and made us feel very comfortable during the visits. She has often been in my thoughts thruout my childhood and adulthood. She was always very encouraging and thoughtful. I do regret not having her in my life more but it is ever so comforting that she always had her days filled with such loving family and friends. My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to my cousins. Live, Love, Laugh, Your Uncle Andy's daughter Kathy :)

I met Marie just a few months ago and was truly saddened by her death. Her warmth and graciousness made me want to know her better and I felt enriched by her presence on the occasions we shared together. I extend my prayers and heartfelt sympathy to the family she so dearly loved. +

I have a place where dreams are born, And time is never planned. It's not on any chart, You must find it in your heart. Never Never Land. It may be miles beyond the moon, Or right there where you stand. Just keep an open mind, And then suddenly you'll find Never Never Land. You'll have a treasure if you stay there, More precious far than gold. For once you have found your way there, You can never, never grow old. And that's my home where dreams are born, And time is never planned. Just think of lovely things. And your heart will fly on wings, Forever in Never Never Land.

Although my visits with Aunt Marie were unfortunately far too limited, I’ve told my wife several times how struck I was by her kindness. Reading the words of those who have left messages here, I see that those who knew and loved her well are confirming my impressions of her as a truly wonderful person. I am sure she is now at peace. My thoughts are with my cousins and they also carry the sincere hope that we can get together, and through you I can learn more about Marie. With sincere sympathy, Andrew Balto, Jr. and family.

Did you know that Marie was a Real Estate Agent? And a very successful one dedicated to work intelligently and tirelessly, as she did all things, to help her Customers and Clients with their Home search. That is where, gratefully, our paths crossed and we became friends. Anyone Marie deemed "Friend" was blessed indeed, for from then on she gathered me into her serene aura, beaming with beauty and grace and kindness. And t'was a happy day to receive one of her watercolor notecards brimming with poetry and encouragement and love. I will miss you so, and our sharing lunches where we talked of things that mattered, and your lovely, bowed head as you knelt in prayer at our beloved, St. Mary's. "Well done good and faithful servant".Love, Maureen
