MARY E. CARPENTER, 74, formerly of HOLMDEL passed away on Monday August 31st, at the Tidewell Palliative Care in Sarasota, Florida. Born in Jersey City, NJ she lived in Holmdel for 30 years before moving to Longboat Key, Fla. 10 years ago. Mrs. Carpenter was a former member of the Holmdel Township Zoning Board. A parishioner of St. Benedicts R.C.Church in Holmdel, she was a Eucharist Minister and a Religious Education teacher, and a former board member of Manna House. She was predeceased by her husband John 'Jack' Carpenter in 2006. Surviving is her son John Carpenter and his wife Denise of Hazlet, her daughter Patricia Kraemer and her husband Andrew of Mount Olive N.J., and Ann Goulburn of Basking Ridge N.J., 9 grandchildren, and her sisters Anne O'Donnell, Lila Nelson, and Louise Kennedy.
